Your name, birth date, chosen guide, intention, plan progress, vision board and any notes are stored only in your device's local storage. We never receive them, and they are not backed up to us. Deleting the app removes this data.
Only subscription data, and only if you buy or restore a subscription. ASCEND uses RevenueCat to manage the optional ASCEND ∞ Infinity subscription. When the app starts, and when you purchase or restore, RevenueCat receives:
Your name, birth date and chart are never sent to RevenueCat or to us. RevenueCat acts as our service provider and processes this data to operate the subscription. Apple or Google separately processes your payment under their own privacy policies; we never see your card details.
If you never subscribe and never tap Restore, the app still contacts RevenueCat once at launch to check whether an entitlement exists, sending the random ID and device information above and nothing else.
None. ASCEND contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and no data brokers. We do not sell or share your data, and nothing collected is used for advertising.
The guide voices are pre-recorded audio files bundled inside the app. The sound baths and drones are generated on your device as you listen; no audio is streamed.
The microphone is used in one place only: after you tap the talk button on your guide and only until speech recognition finishes or you tap the button again. It is off at every other moment, and the app asks your permission before the first time.
What you say is turned into text by your device's own speech recogniser — the one built into iOS or Android. Whether that recogniser processes your voice on the device or on Apple's or Google's servers is decided by your operating system and your device settings, not by ASCEND, and in that case their privacy policy applies to it. We have no access to that audio either way.
ASCEND itself never records you, never saves an audio file, and never uploads your voice. The recognised text is matched against your guide's replies on your device and is discarded as soon as they answer. It is not stored and is never sent to us.
Apart from the subscription checks above, ASCEND runs offline: all fonts, audio and images are bundled in the app. There is one further connection — some written passages can be read aloud in a guide's voice, which sends that passage of the app's own text to our server to be spoken and returns the audio. It carries no personal data: not your name, birth date, chart, or anything you typed or said. If the connection is unavailable the app simply tells you to read it instead. Tapping Privacy, Terms or Manage Subscription opens those pages in your browser.
ASCEND is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
You can clear everything ASCEND stores by deleting the app. To request deletion of subscription records held by RevenueCat, email us at the address below with the approximate purchase date and store, and we will pass the request on. You can cancel or manage the subscription at any time in your device's subscription settings.
ASCEND is for entertainment, reflection and self-improvement. It uses numerology and astrology as symbolic systems. It does not predict events or outcomes, and it does not provide medical, financial, legal or other professional advice.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
