Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Buddy is operated by ALAMO Artificial Intelligence Labs LLC (“ALAMOai,” “we,” “us”), Granbury, Texas. By creating an account or using Buddy you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Buddy is

Buddy is an AI voice assistant and coaching tool. It can hold spoken conversations, manage a calendar, track goals and health notes you give it, and play back audio replies in a chosen character voice. Buddy is software, not a person, and not a licensed professional.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your login secure.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Buddy for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive.
• Upload a voice sample that is not your own voice, or that you do not have explicit permission to use. Impersonating another person is prohibited.
• Attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service without our written permission.

5. AI output is not professional advice

Buddy's responses are generated by AI and may be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Nothing Buddy says is medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for important decisions.

6. Trial, plans, and billing

New accounts include a free trial (currently 7 days). After the trial, continued use of the AI features requires an active subscription. Founding-member pricing is offered for a limited time. Until automated checkout is live, upgrades are arranged directly by email. We may change pricing for new terms with notice.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you provide (transcripts, notes, calendar entries, voice samples). You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the service for you — including sending it to the AI and voice providers described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your content at any time.

8. Termination

You may stop using Buddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users.

9. Disclaimers & liability

Buddy is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALAMOai is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
